Carbon Reduction Plan

Net Zero commitment: Sig-Nexus is committed to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 for its UK operations. As 2026 is both our baseline year and our first reporting year, current emissions are the same as baseline emissions. This plan will be reviewed and republished annually.

Baseline emissions footprint

PPN 006 required reported emissions (2026): Scope 1 0.00; Scope 2 0.00; Upstream transportation 0.00; Waste generated in operations 0.03; Business travel 0.00; Employee commuting 0.00; Downstream transportation 0.00. Subtotal: 0.03 tCO2e.

Additional operational Scope 3 (home-working and digital services): 1.35 tCO2e. Total reported emissions footprint: 1.38 tCO2e.

Emissions reduction targets

We project that total reported emissions will reduce to 1.10 tCO2e by 2031, representing a 20% reduction against our 2026 baseline.

Carbon reduction projects

Completed initiatives include a fully remote operating model, domestic renewable generation supporting the director home office, remote-first business travel, cloud hosting review, and paperless operations.

Planned initiatives include home-working equipment efficiency refreshes, encouragement of renewable electricity tariffs where practical, and annual review of cloud provider sustainability disclosures.
